2021

Simplification of the legal structure

The company S+M Tank AG is merged into the parent company CICA SA and takes over all assets and liabilities.

The holding company SAMC-Combustibles SA is merged into the parent company SATRAM-HUILES SA and takes over all assets and liabilities.

New offices in Kleinhüningen

In the course of the tank farm demolition at Hiltalingerstrasse, a new office is occupied at Hochbergerstrasse 60a. The remaining 11 employees operate CICA SA’s trading activities and tank storage management from the 8th floor of the building.

Dismantling tank storage Basel

The loss-making tank farm of SATRAM-HUILES SA in Kleinhüningen on the border with Weil am Rhein is being dismantled. The subsequent soil remediation will be completed three years later. The parcels will be returned to the Swiss Rhine Ports.

Adjustment commercial register

Historically, CICA was founded as the “Comptoir d’importation de Charbon Anglais” in Neuchâtel. The offices in Basel-Stadt were occupied as early as 1948. The official relocation of the headquarters according to the commercial register entry was made in 2016.

Further acquisitions

Increase of the shareholding in “Tanklager Rümlang AG” (TAR) to 38.3% through the acquisition of the shares of Socar (formerly Esso).
Takeover of S + M Tank AG in Oberbipp.

Closure of the Sempach tank terminal and increase of the shareholding in Tankanlage Rümlang AG to 19.6%.

Capital increase to 5 million Swiss francs by offsetting against retained earnings.

Bolloré SE acquires a 70% stake in SATRAM-HUILES SA. The Paris-based group becomes virtually the sole shareholder.
